In the year of 2026 alone, more than 6.5 million acres have been lost to wildfires. These fires are terrible for everyone involved… especially the animals that cannot escape them.
This painting is a very emotional piece for me. Not only does fire ravage the living creatures that call the forest home, filling our neighborhoods with smoke and a red sun, but it puts the rangers I’ve studied and worked alongside directly on the fire line.
